I'm listening to the American Idol Season 4 album. I know. I know.
Don't think less of me, but I'm suddenly nostalgic for those evenings
in Korea when I would get together with a few lady friends and watch
this show. It was the first time I'd ever watched it, and I got hooked
early on. I resisted for the first three seasons. Clay huh? Kelly who?
DANGIT....I got sucked in. And now I'm watching Desperate Housewives.
I'm LOST*, but insanely entertained.I still think Vonzell should have won. Girl can SING.
So what's new? Oh oh oh! Nothing.
I miss a lot of people right now. I'm nostalgic these days. I value good friends these days.

Isn't 'double entendre' used almost exclusively to describe double meanings with sexual connotations?
No, not really. That is one of the uses/definitions, though the primary definition is "ambiguity of meaning arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation." In French, it literally means "double meaning"...

did you ever get the Xanga email i sent? i couldn't be sure if you'd received it and decided you didn't want to respond, which is totally fine, or if you'd never gotten it. so just wondering.
can i say just how thankful i am that you got sucked in from the very first episode viewed at my pad? who else would have burned them for me on CD weekly! good times. this makes me want to go back and rewatch them. you should check out carrie's performances on MSN "The Today Show". she did pretty good, but you are right, Vonzell should have had it in my opinion!!
now be honest, are you busting it out on the DDR with your group kids?~ come on now... ^^

hey same here! I only got hooked on american idol last year (actually canadian idol is way better) aieeesssh. don't get me started on season 4.
well, i haven't been sucked into american idol, but i guess i am one of the only few people left in such a situation. but i have been missing good friends these days, too. i got the latest TFC magazine and read the alumni news. funny how none of our friends put updates in there!
I have a new word for you that I think you, Carrie and Cordell will appreciate... I'll post it one of these days.
So your getting "desperate" about some of these shows. It only seemed like "24" hours ago there were only a few but now there's been an "invasion" of the same idea but with a different "alias". With so many shows, "idol" hands are the devil's playground. I do miss watching them in Korea, we need to have a "reunion".
So has that copy of PS been wrapped and put stamps on itself yet? Just curious.
you know, salfred is the greatest of all time tv-show-sucker-inners. she got me hooked on things like "idol" and, shh, don't tell anybody, "felicity". gadzooks and egads! i know! that girl possesses a strange but incredibly strong power. tis a mystery. i miss coming home to MY apartment, where only I lived, to find various and sundry folks piled in MY living room watching MY tv. how did they get in? no one had a key. huh, i never thought about that.
sportophelia was watching "felicity" before i knew her, i'm sure of it!! but i will own up to my sneaky tv-show-sucker-inner ways. nothing brings people together like mocking folks like trach-boy.

hey, you don't know me, but i am one of the bahs' friends. you lived in korea? how was it? i'm in the military and i get stationed there next year. i'm learning korean right now as my job. any good thoughts would be appreciated.
I just saw Carrie Underwood in the Macy's Parade...she is so dang cute. She was right behind that balloon that caused that big accident.
