  • I left Daejeon at 9:55 this morning, and have been in Seoul all day.  Let me just say: I love this city! It has that amazing big city feel, not unlike London, New York, and/or Chicago.  Mmmm-hmmmm.

Bought some cool stuff, and like every holiday, when perusing through my wallet at the end of the day, wondered where all my money had gone. Perhaps it's with the socks that go missing in the dryer, both frolicking somewhere on some grassy, mysterious knoll, all having a good laugh at my expense.

At any rate...Seoul.  Will be here all of tomorrow, and half of Sunday.  So...more to come.  At present, I write from my hotel room.  Free internet.  In my hotel room.  Only in Korea, God Bless this place.  ALSO, just had what is, perhaps, the best shower of my life.  A random, seemingly insignificant detail, perhaps.  But be honest with yourself, and remember: when was the last time YOU thought, "this is the best shower of my life"?  My point exactly...it's rare.

Now I will watch "Underworld" which I purchased today, on the DVD player in the aforementioned hotel room.  Only in Korea, God Bless this place.

OK...enough for now.  Pictures when I get home....

P.S. I also got a picture of dog meat at the market on Wednesday.  Will post that, too, for all you animal lovers out there!

  • yay!!! dog meat!?that makes me miss the land of the morning sun and high speed internet.

  • Seoul. Well. My day off consists of: aerobics class (sketchy), getting my drivers license renewed (excitement of the century), and going to my friend's art show (chic). Not too shabby. But then, I'm not living in Korea, the land of perfect showers. One good thing -- at least I don't know what I'm missing.

  • I'm so glad you went to Seoul for your holiday Andrew. Sounds like lots of fun. Is anyone with you?
    miss you.

I definitely need to go there more this year.  We are having an amazing time in China(pointing fingers at you while saying this...hehe)  We are currently waiting for half of our peeps to find us at our new hostel in Shanghai after a 16 hr. train ride from Xi'an.  What an adventure! See you soon!
